BANDUNG - Duplicate red and white heritage flags were handed over by the Bandung City Government to the West Java Provincial Government on Wednesday (08/15/2018). Located in Gedung Sate, the duplicate heritage flag was handed by Deputy Mayor of Bandung Oded Muhammad Danial to Daily Implementer of West Java Governor M Iriawan, accompanied by the signing of the handover document, witnessed by members of the Bandung city Paskibraka and members of the Bandung and West Java Purna Paskibraka(PPI).
"We appreciate the Bandung City Government, Deputy, for this initiative. We are very grateful," said M Iriawan in his remarks.
Meanwhile Deputy Mayor of Bandung Oded M Danial said he was happy to hand over the duplicate heritage flag to those who were more entitled to keep it.
"This flag belongs to the provincial government and has been stored in the city of Bandung for more than 20 years," he said.
The duplicate heritage flag owned by the West Java Provincial Government was previously stored at City Hall or the Mayor's office in Bandung. So far, every time before the August 17 ceremony, the flag with a special procession was brought by West Java Satpol PP from Balaikora to Gasibu to be flown, and after that it was returned to the City Hall in the afternoon.
