BANDUNG-West Java trade balance in June 2018 got a surplus in terms of value of USD 1.05 billion which was supported by a surplus of non-oil and gas commodities amounting to USD 1.08 billion while the oil and gas commodity deficit was USD 24.70 million.
In volume of foreign trade, a surplus of 281.74 thousand tons was recorded in June 2018 which was contributed by a non-oil and gas surplus of 321.68 thousand tons while the volume of oil and gas commodities was a deficit of 39.94 thousand tons.
The Central Statistics Agency of West Java (BPS) Head Doddy Herlando said, judging from Non-Oil and Gas trade transactions with 13 major trading partner countries, in the period June 2018, West Java got a trade balance deficit with three (3) countries worth USD 125.01 million. Which comes from transactions with China, South Korea and Taiwan. Each deficit was USD 79.83 million, USD 38.93 million, USD 6.25 million.
Whereas non-oil and gas trade with other major countries showed a surplus, with a total surplus of 13 major trading partners reaching USD 491.96 million and the total surplus in June 2018 reaching USD 1.08 billion
To know the export value of West Java in June 2018 reached USD 1.78 billion, having a drastic decline of 36.62 percent compared to May 2018 which reached USD 2.81 billion. While the import value of West Java in June 2018 reached USD 0.73 billion, down 40.69 percent compared to May 2018 which was USD 1.23 billion. jo
