MAJALENGKA REGENCY - Provincial Government (Pemprov) West Java will keep trying that West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati Majalengka can dispatch pilgrims. Although, until now the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) has not approved the policy.
Daily Implementer of West Java Governor Moch Iriawan said BIJB will be able to dispatch three kloter pilgrimage with a capacity of one kloter with three departed aircraft.
"The important thing is, we will try to keep BIJB able to dispatch pilgrims," ??said Iriawan told reporters in Rancabuaya, Garut regency, Friday (3/8/2018)
He considered the prospective pilgrims are coming from several areas such as Cirebon, Indramayu, Majalengka and Kuningan will be more effective when removed from BIJB. Furthermore, they will be accommodated first in the embarkation of pilgrims in Bekasi.
"Similarly, they depart from Lampung or Cirebon will be accommodated first in the Bekasi Hajj embarkation," he said.
Iriawan said Lion Air airlines are now able to serve passengers from BIJB even in October 2018 will serve prospective umroh pilgrims so that West Java residents who come from Cirebon do not need to Bandung or Jakarta.
"God willing, in October Lion Aur was able to dispatch Umrah pilgrims from BIJB," he concluded. (Even)
