    West Java Achieves Without Drugs


    BANDUNG-In order to unite and mobilize all the forces of the Nation in the fight against drugs to create a healthy Indonesian society without drugs, the West Java Provincial Government and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) held the International Anti Narcotics Day (HANI) on the west page of Gedung Sate Bandung, Monday (07/30/18).

    Participants who attended the event included Bandung City High School students and several drug rehabilitation communities in West Java. This activity began with a grand apple, destruction of evidence, exhibitions, arts and entertainment events.

    To enliven the HANI 2018 event, the West Java Provincial Government and the National Narcotics Board presented Calung and musical performances from the College of Social Welfare (STKS) with the drug prevention theme. In addition, there is also a sharing session conducted by representatives of the Foundation Graphics which tells the journey of former drug addicts who are now successful boxing athletes. He also gave a lecture to the participants who attended.

    "One science we can take, that the model rule of a drug addict can produce an achievement. We are young, energetic, fresh and clean, their achievements must be more than that, "said Dudu, Public Relations of Graphics Content.

    In the series of activities, the participants also participated by voicing the stop drug movement. They were also very enthusiastic to attend the event. "The impression is we have a lot of lessons. For example, like Fauzan who moved on from drugs and now he has become an athlete, "said Dinda Trisiana, a 10th high school student in Bandung.

    Some parties also hope that this event can provide benefits for anyone who attends it. "We hope from the institutional side that the younger generation never give up to try because if they are already involved in the addiction position, the recovery will be more difficult than those who have never used it," said Tri Wahyu Astuti, PLT BNN West Java.
