BANDUNG-The Government of West Java Province through the Department of Industry and Trade (Disperindag) held a New Entrepreneurship Festival, in Gedung Pusdai Bandung, Wednesday (4/7/18). Unmitigated, this festival involves 600 entrepreneurs new entrepreneurs formed Disperindag. Regional Secretary (Sekda) West Java Province Iwa Karniwa marked the opening of the festival with the beating of the gong.
Iwa revealed that this new entrepreneurial festival title answer what is said by the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo that Indonesia needs 5.8 million new young entrepreneurs if they want to win the competition in the era of single market of Asean Economic Community (MEA). But unfortunately, Iwa said, new entrepreneurs in Indonesia are still less than neighboring countries.
"Subhanallah, supports the central government where if we want to be winners in the ASEAN Economic Community, then we have to print 5.8 million new entrepreneurs, and West Java insyaallah the greatest contribution to print new entrepreneurs," said Iwa, met after the event.
"It is unfortunate that our entrepreneurs' ratios are still far below the average, which is in the 3% range, far compared to neighboring countries, Singapore, which reached 7%, Malaysia 5% and Thailand 4%," he said.
Iwa also said that the provincial government of West Java continues to improve the entrepreneurship of the best local children through a series of integrated programs, ranging from the new entrepreneurship formation program (WUB), the program of people's love credit (KCR), the optimization of new prosperous entrepreneurship cooperatives, to the achievement of targets Indonesian marketing community in ecommerce ecosystem.
"We push e-commerce, because it's the most massive marketing," said Iwa.
Head of Disperindag West Java M. Arifin Soedjayana reported that the 600 entrepreneurs of this new entrepreneurship festival are trainees of 15 generations in 2018. He said the purpose of this activity in addition to being a place of creative industrial products of the participants, as well as evaluation of training results of participants. In addition, this activity also opens up networking opportunities with the creative industry consultants presented at the event.
"The purpose of this activity is as an evaluation of the new entrepreneur training participants we have done 15 batches. The second is as a means of creativity information from the participants through product or exhibition degree, and as a means of networking with the narakonsultan presented at this event, "explained Arifin.
This new entrepreneurial festival is held until Thursday (05/07/18), and is open to the public. There are 20 booths of new entrepreneurs offering various culinary, fashion and handicraft products, as well as 15 supporting stands consisting of Bank BJB, Bank BRI, Jamkrida, MUI West Java, POS Office, Blibli.com, PT Shopee Internasional Indonesia, Indomockup, PT Pawnshop, POGG Digital Bandung, as well as the halls of the Office of Industry and Trade of West Java.
