BANDUNG - Acting (Pj) West Java Governor Mochammad Iriawan confirms it will provide sanctions against unscrupulous people who sell the seats in the implementation of New Student Acceptance (PPDB) in 2018.
"West Java is still safe from the practice of cheating such as buying and selling seats, but if there is I will give strict sanctions on unscrupulous people in PPDB seats," said Iriawan when reviewing PPDB at SMAN 5 Bandung, Tuesday (03/07).
According to Iriawan, sanctions are given as one to provide understanding to the community that the implementation of PPDB must be done according to existing rules and procedures.
"Sanctions can be criminal, because this has been included in the category of forgery, fraud is there but a clear administrative sanctions first, then we see later," he said.
But Iriawan asserted to date PPDB in West Java is still relatively safe from fraudulent practices including the sale of seats at the PPDB this time and his side asked for evidence if there is such practice.
Iriawan also appealed to parents and prospective students to submit recruitment issues or PPDB to the government and schools and avoid the offer of ease to enter a particular school.
"I urge people not be tempted by unscrupulous people who promise to help enter a favorite school," he said. (Parno)
