    West Java Lebaran Moment Inflation Rise 0.47 Percent


    BANDUNG-June 2018 Consumer Price Index (CPI) Combined West Java which covers 7 cities of Bogor City, Sukabumi City, Bandung City, Cirebon City, Bekasi City, Depok City, and Tasikmalaya City increased.

    "CPI from 131.10 in May 2018 to 131.72 in June 2018, thus inflation of 0.47 percent," said Head of West Java BPS Dodi Herlando, Monday (2/7).

    Of the seven CPI monitoring cities in West Java in June 2018, all experienced inflation, namely Bogor City of 0.65 percent, Sukabumi City 0.45 percent, Bandung 0.48 percent, Cirebon City 0.69 percent, Kota Bekasi is 0.17 percent, Depok is 0.69 percent and Tasikmalaya is 0.59 percent.

    The year-to-date inflation rate for calendar year to date is 2.21 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2018 to June 2017) is 3.09 percent.

    Of the seven expenditure groups all experienced inflation, namely the Foodstuff Group by 0.69 percent, Food, Beverage, Cigarette & Tobacco Group by 0.70 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel Groups by 0.02 percent, Group Clothing by 0.52 percent, Health Group by 0.12 percent, Education, Recreation & Sports by 0.05 percent, and Transportation, Communication & Finance Group by 0.96 percent.
