BANDUNG-Acting Governor of West Java, M Iriawan hoped that the implementation of regional election simultaneously in West Java runs safely.
This was disclosed Iriawan after doing video conference (vicon) readiness of elections in West Java 2018 in the election hall of Gedung Sate Bandung, Tuesday (06/26/2018).
Iriawan explains, overall security in West Java region is conducive. This is based on the result of coordination meeting between the Governor of West Java with the West Java Regional Police and Military Command III Siliwangi.
He also appealed to all elements of society to succeed Election by maintaining security and order, including using the right to vote well.
"So please all to help the implementation of West Java elections run safely and peacefully," he said.
Meanwhile, based on the results of video conferencing, simultaneous elections and West Java Governor Election 2018 which will take place on 27 June 2018 predicted to run smoothly and safely.
"In principle I state whether the electoral logistics already exist in the Regency / Municipality including the villages and sub-districts, so the electoral logistics already exist in the Regency / Municipality and all stated there is no problem," he said.
Acting West Java Governor also asked the readiness of novice voters, where as of June 27, 2018 he was entering the age of 17 years. In addition, checking the preparation of TNI-Polri officers who have entered retirement in order to exercise their voting rights in the elections of West Java 2018.
"As a whole I have checked in. About 5 districts / cities they can already use the right to vote," he said
Provincial Government (Pemprov) West Java also anticipates the Voting Place (TPS), which is prone to conflict. Iriawan said there are some areas that are considered vulnerable to conflict, one of them in Bantar Gebang Bekasi.
"I ask that it is really anticipated because the local government, General Election Commision, TNI-Polri know TPS is prone to conflict so that the attention to be really prioritized," he concluded. (Even)
