SUBANG REGENCY- Government through the Office of the National Land Agency (BPN) is targeting four more years the entire plot of land in West Java will be certified. This year, it is targeted that 1.2 million plots of land in West Java will be certified.
"Four years from now (land) in all of West Java our target will all be holding legal title of the land, that is a certificate," said President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) in his speech at the Delivery of Land for People in Taman Bintang Fantasi Sport Hall, Pamanukan, Subang Regency, Wednesday (6/6/18).
The distribution of land titles is done massively throughout Indonesia. This is done because of the frequent conflict of land disputes.
In 2017, five million certificates are issued by the BPN Office. In 2018 BPN is targeting seven million certificates submitted to the public and nine million certificates are targeted out next year. In West Java alone there were 594,500 certificates distributed to the community last year.
West Java BPN Office also targets 1.2 million certificates out this year. "Nearly ten times more than usual, next year 1.5 million certificates have to come out," pleaded Jokowi.
There are 5,000 certificates distributed by BPN in Subang Regency. A total of 3,200 certificate recipients are presented directly in the presence of the President plus 50 recipients of waqaf land certificates. From 5,000 certificates, consisting of 2,000 land certificates for the community from Purwakarta Regency, 1,500 certificates (Karawang Regency), and 1,500 certificates (Subang Regency).
West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) said the certificate of PTSL products is also handed over by the Office of West Java BPN to the public, consisting of certificates of property rights, waqaf certificates, and certificates of local government assets.
This land certification program received positive response from the community. According to the Governor, a plot of land is very valuable and has the function of economic and social functions are very vital, especially for most people of West Java who live in agriculture.
"Land certification will be an effective solution and anticipation to prevent land conflicts," the Governor said in his speech at the same event.
Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / Head of BPN also promised to certify land that has not been certified next year gradually. Because of the recognition of the community, there are still many land that do not have a certificate.
Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / Head of BPN Sofyan Djalil revealed that his party is targeting all the land in Indonesia to be registered in 2025. "The land of father / mother who has not been certified, by order of Mr. President will be certified if not this year, next year or next year again, "said Sofyan.
