BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan gave the name of Al Ahyar (Option) for the mosque to be built in the office of Regional Income Agency (Bapenda) West Java Province, Soekarno-Hatta Road No. 528, Bandung City.
The governor expects the mosque's construction to improve the faith, especially for Regional Income Agency's employees and generally the people who use the mosque to worship.
"With the construction of the mosque, besides the success of the world, God willing will succeed in the hereafter," said the governor after conducting ground breaking of the mosque construction at West Java Regional Income Agency on Thursday (31/05).
The Governor also appealed to the Regional Device Organizations (OPD) in West Java that still have land in the office environment can build supporting infrastructure while doing work in the office, one of them.
"For Regional Device Organizations please build a mosque if the land is still there, itis important for the hereafter," he said.
The governor also asks all state civil apparatus in every Regional Device Organizations to stop their activities when the call to prayer arrives and immediately rush to pray in congregations that they have because congregation will be more beneficial.
"To successfully live in the afterlife of any activity, if the call to prayer comes to rest and bow down, that is the purpose of our hereafter," he said. (Parno)
