    Telkom University Won 2 Champion Robot Contest


    BANDUNG - Telkom University team succeeded to become the 2nd winner in Indonesia Robot Contest (KRI) 2018 Regional II organized by the Ministry of Research Technology and Higher Education (Ristekdikti) at the University of Tarumanegara on 10-12 May 2018 ago.

    The Badaya_SAS team consisting of Ryan Febriansyah, Amalia Tamarizka Sihombing, Luthfi Anota Sirpa and supervisor Simon Siregar succeeded to win the second place with the category of Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI).

    Meanwhile, ROSTU team consisting of Dzikri Hasbialloh, Muhammad Muchlis Kurnia, Daud Al Adumy, Icha Inggrid Lestari, Muhammad Amirul Ammar, Alfian Nasir, Bayu Firdausa with mentor lecturer M. Ikhsan Sani succeeded in achieving Champion of hope for Indonesian Football Robot Contest category ( KRSBI) Wheeled.

    According to M.Ikhsan, 2 teams of Telkom University who passed this team SAS and Team Rostu will enter the national level KRI which will be held on 11-14 July 2018 at Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta.

    "We are grateful that we can continue this competition at the national level, because this is the first time KRSBI team," said Ikhsan, on Tel-U Campus on Wednesday (23/05).

    In this KRI 2, as many as 95 teams competed in robot competitions that ran 5 branches, including ABU Indonesia Robot Contest (KRAI), Indonesia Fire Extinguisher Robot Contest (KRPAI), Indonesian Dance Robot Contest (KRSTI), Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI) Humanoid, and Indonesian Football Robot Contest (KRSBI) Wheeled.

    While in this event Tel-U send 4 team that each team consist of Team BADAYA_SAS with category of KRSTI and ROSTU Team with category of KRSBI-Wheeled from Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT) and ARJUNA Team with category of KRPAI and ROOBICS Team with category of KRAI from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FTE).
