BANDUNG - PT PLN West Java (Jabar) signed a new connection or new power addition for a number of small, medium and large industries in Bekasi District with a total connection of 1 billion Volt Ampere (VA).
The signing of the power connection agreement is done simultaneously with PLN Bekasi Ekspo 2018 event at Horison Hotel Bekasi, Wednesday (18/4).
General Manager of PT PLN West Java (Jabar) Iwan Purwana said Bekasi District became the region with the largest electricity consumption in West Java and even in Indonesia. According to him, the income in a month paid by customers in Bekasi reached Rp. 1 trillion per month.
"With the new connections we will realize until 2019 reaching 1 billion VA, there will be additional new revenue of Rp1 trillion again," he said.
Muhamad Ali, Director of Human Capital Management of PLN Center, said that PLN is ready to support industrial area demand to support economic development in West Java, especially in providing electricity.
"Whatever we are ready to support customer demand, including for the industry Hopefully with the readiness of PLN, investment in West Java will be increasingly in demand," he explained.
He added that for the industry-specific electrical power connection from the previous no later than 129 days or three months, currently within a period of one month can already connect.
"In addition to the availability of electricity, we also guarantee its electrical reliability," he stressed. (Jo)
