    Netty: The Simple Life doesn’t Mean Unable Being Rich


    BANDUNG-Chairman of the Regional Crafts Council (Dekranasda) West Java Province Netty Heryawan said, we should be able to change the paradigm and mindset when we want to start the entrepreneurship. Although there were suggestions that we should life in a simple way, but it does not mean unable to be rich.

    "Precisely as a Muslim we should be rich in terms of property and obedience to Allah SWT, so we can be empowered and empower others in terms of “giving with the right hand while the left hand not allowed to know”. So that the public welfare will be realised," said Netty at the Exhibition Coop-erative of Insan Madani the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI) in Pusdai Building West Java, Bandung, Friday (19/2).

    Therefore, Netty hopes as Muslims we can fortify and fix the paradigm to be self-employed. And to encourage and give confidence to the younger generation to master in various fields for starting a new business and will not give up and keep trying if it fails.

    "There will be many opportunity for the unemployed and women to work in this country, rather than to work as migrant workers," she said.

    Exhibition Insan Madani Cooperative the Indonesian Muslim Intellectuals Association (ICMI), West Java will be held from 18 to 19 February 2016, with the theme "Creating a Home Based Business Dream into Manufacturing" that chaired by Ina Wiyandini.

    Cooperatives which have been formed on the basis of mutual cooperation and self-reliance should be empowered and empowering people, particularly women with learning from Islamic countries in the running of the cooperative.
