BANDUNG - A total of 1,530 schools in West Java held a National Computer Based Exam (UNBK) for SMA, Masrasah Aliyah (MA) and Package C, which runs from Monday (09/04) to Thursday (12/04) the first day of Bahasa Indonesia, the second day of Mathematics, the third day of English and the last is the subject of choice.
According to West Java Provincial Education Office Ahmad Hadadi, for this year UNBK participants have recorded 213,078 high school students, for MA amounted to 67,339 students and for Package C 43,081 students.
"Based on the first day monitoring on the implementation of UNBK, it seems to run smoothly," said Ahmad after monitoring the implementation of UNBK in SMA Negeri 5 Bandung, Monday (09/04).
According to Ahmad, for the smooth implementation of UNBK West Java Education Office has done various preparations ranging from the preparation of computers and servers adequate so that computer-based exams can be entirely.
"We have prepared about 260,956 units of computers with the support of 8816 servers, we also have helped the provision of computers to a number of SMK and SMA," he said.
Ahmad said although it has added computer equipment for the implementation of 100 percent computer-based exams can be met, but for the implementation of this UNBK still be done in rotation with three sessions.
"This year the implementation of UNBK conducted 3 sessions, but we hope for the implementation of UNBK next year we carry out 2 sessions," he said. (Parno)
