BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) is optimistic West Java Provincial Government again bears Unqualified Opinion (WTP) in 2018 from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) RI.
So West Java provincial government can re-enter the national top three as the region with the best Local Government Implementation Report (LPPD).
If the WTP Opinion is reached, then this will be the 7th for the West Java Provincial Government, which has successively won the WTP since 2011. Pun Jabar will be the first province in achieving this achievement.
"Alhamdulillah during this West Java has 6 times WTP, hopefully this year is the seventh time, a prize for the last period of my office," said Governor Ahmad Heryawan, after the 'Entry Meeting' with BPK West Java Representative Office, Pakuan State Building, Bandung, Friday (06/04/2018).
Governor Aher said it had deposited the financial statements to the BPK. The BPK will then review the documents for review.
"It means we are ready to be examined by BPK, we have requested to all West Java provincial government officers, especially the head of department, Head of Bureau, commanded by Chief Inspectorate in preparing inspection from this BPK," he said.
Aher also admitted there are no significant problems related to financial management. Instead he feels the asset management in West Java is getting better, good finance, government control system is getting better.
Meanwhile, the Head of Representative at the BPK Representative of West Java Province, Arman Syifa, said that the meeting-entry activity with the governor is a meeting to start the examination.
"In this case we are examining the financial statements of 2017 and will last for two months until the end of May," Arman said.
Arman explained that his side will conduct an examination of the fairness of the financial statements that have been received from the Government of West Java Province. As for which will be the target assessment, namely the fairness of financial reporting in accordance with the criteria of government accounting standards.
