BANDUNG - Representative Office of Bank Indonesia West Java Province until now has not received official report related to the discovery of counterfeit money by the Bogor City Police Officers with a value of Rp 6 billion.
Head of Bank Indonesia Group West Java Representative Office Ismet Inono admitted to this day his side has not received reports of the existence of counterfeit money in Bogor, ranging from the amount to the nominal forged.
"I have read in the media the existence of counterfeit money in Bogor, but officially I have not received a report," said Ismet to www.Jabarprov.go.id in an event in Bandung, Wednesday (28/03).
Ismet asserted, the discovery of counterfeit money by the police has nothing to do with the implementation of the 2018 election of Regional Head (Pilkada) which is currently entering the campaign period.
"The discovery of counterfeit money has nothing to do with elections, now every year there is elections, the important thing is the people do not worry about this case," he said.
Ismet also said that his side keep monitoring to all areas in West Java possibility still beredaranya counterfeit money in society used for transaction.
