BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government supports efforts to prevent corruption in the procurement of goods and services.
This is the result of coordination with KPK RI with West Java provincial government at the entry meeting received by Governor of West Java Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) on Monday (5/2/18) and attended by Head of Task Force Korsupgah KPK West Java Region, Asep Rahmat Suwandha, and nine Devices Areas that will be the coordination point of prevention of corruption.
"There are nine conical areas on prevention in four areas, namely the process of budgeting, licensing, shopping for goods and services, and human resources. Also strengthening prevention in the natural resources sector is already running, "said Aher.
Aher added about the budget began in 2019 will be integrated from the start Musrebang area, the region until the province, then entered also RKPD online.
West Java Provincial Secretary Iwa Karniwa said the follow-up of the commitment, he attended the KPK coordination meeting with the Government's Goods / Service Procurement Policy Agency (LKPP) and 10 provincial and municipal Secretaries (Sekda) with the largest procurement budget .
In the meeting, he said, there was a recommendation needed to improve the institutional and procurement system of goods and services. "There is a discourse to make the Bureau of Procurement, the merger of Government Procurement Service Unit (ULP) with Electronic Procurement Service (LPSE)," he said on Monday (5/3/18), while receiving KPK team with Jabar Elections Desk at Gedung Sate Bandung.
He explained that so far LPSE and ULP are separate. The ULP becomes an ad hoc institution according to the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 99 of 2014 which mandates it to be in Setda.
In order to support the merger discourse, it hopes another legal umbrella of Presidential Regulation that the process is now entering the finalization stage at the Center.

He said that has been applied Riau Province through the procurement of electrical equipment and the city of Bandung through the procurement of security services.
