BANDUNG- As a form of government program support in an effort to improve the reading culture of the community, the Office of the Representative of Bank Indonesia of West Java Province, launches a card member of Bank Indonesia library.
Deputy KPw BI West Java Province, Ismet Inono said, with the launch of the card this member will provide convenience for BI employees and the community, ranging from children, students, businessmen and academics who want to borrow books collection of West Java BI number 4,000 titles.
"Members of the library can borrow various books as needed, ranging from story books, banking quiet books, journals, we also prepare e-books in library," he said.
According to Ismen, to keep the book collection of BI stay well maintained and did not say, for people who want to become members of the BI library, must first cooperate with agencies where prospective members work.
"Cooperation with agencies is needed so that if the books are lost or damaged, we can complain to the institution where the members work," said Ismet, after inaugurating the membership card at the BI West Java Building, Tuesday (06/03).
Ismen added, in addition to serving as a proof of membership, this library card, can also serve as a card transactions in non-cash (e-money) so it has a dual function for the community owner.
"To be a free member and they will have cards that also serve as e-money members can also ask our librarians to provide the required books," he said.
