BANDUNG-Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB), Yuddy Chrisnandi, said that bureaucracy reform is a priority program of the government of President Joko Widodo. "It is clearly shows in nine priority agenda named Nawa Cipta which subsequently been integrated into the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2015-2019," said Yuddy, when opened the Administrative Reform Coordination Meeting at ministerial/agency in Jakarta Tuesday (16/02).
It thus revealed in a press release issued MenPANRB Assistance Team and received by the editorial jabarprov.go.id, Tuesday (16/2) afternoon.
According to Yuddy Chrisnandi, the National Musrenbang 2015 was claimed that the improvement of governance and bureaucracy reform is one of the required condition in the achievement of the national development strategy 2015-2019. Related to this case, it have been set three targets national development in the state apparatus, namely: (1) Clean and Accountable Bureaucracy; (2) Effective and Efficient Bureaucracy; and (3) Bureaucracy with quality public services.
This target setting was not separated of our desire to achieve World Class Government in 2025 as stipulated in the Grand Design Reforms 2010-2015, and where the competition between countries is more opened because we have entered the ASEAN Economic community (MEA) this year. Moreover we have responsibility as part of the international community through the establishment of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the UN General Assembly by the end of 2015.
Yuddy revealed some progress had been achieved by the target indicators of bureaucratic reform, namely: 1) Realising an accountable bureaucracy by increasing the average value of the evaluation results of performance accountability level K/L from 64.70 in 2014 to 65.82 in 2015; 2) In order to create an effective and efficient bureaucracy, in 2015 has been carried out to Accelerate Structuring Organisations Working Cabinet followed by the dissolution of the 12 non-structural policy; 3) In order to boost the quality of public services, since 2014 it has implemented the Public Service Innovation Competition where some of the innovations gain a world-class award from United Nations Public Service Awards (UNPSA) in 2015.
"I addition to things mentioned above, there are other measures have been taken by the PANRB Ministry to strengthen Human resources apparatus management in order to improve professionalism ASN thus has strong competitiveness, such as the completion of the implementing ASN Law, moratorium CASN reception, filling the high leadership positions openly, and others," said Yuddy.
The coordination meeting was attended by secretary of cross its ministries/institutions.
