BANDUNG, -Direktorat general of Customs and Excise through Regional Office DJBC West Java and KPPBC TMP A Bandung in cooperation with PT. Bintang Abadi Raya and PT. Mugi Jaya Laksono as the general importer of PLB and APIKMI (Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association of Small Medium Enterprises) has conducted data collection of SMEs in West Java, especially Bandung area.
Head of Regional Office of West Java DJBC, Saipullah Nasution explained in West Java there are 7.428 IKM who have business in the field of clothing and special in Bandung area there are 2918 IKM who have business in the field of clothing.
Synergy efforts are followed up with the assistance and coaching IKM in Bandung Regency to help accelerate the process of supplying raw materials for IKM and initiate the fulfillment of raw materials and / or auxiliary materials of Textile and Textile Products for IKM production process in Bandung area.
"Up to now, there are 150 IKMs that will receive raw materials / auxiliary materials of Textile and Textile Products from Bonded Logistics Center of PT Agility International Bandung," he told reporters in Bandung, Tuesday (27/2/2018)
It is expected that by the end of 2018 80% of the total 2,918 IKM in Bandung region can join the scheme of fulfilling the needs of such raw materials.
Nasution said symbolically will be done delivery / distribution of imported raw materials through PLB facility from PT. Bintang Abadi Raya as general importer of PLB and APIKMI recipients to IKM business actor in Bandung and its surrounding area with value of ordering goods (raw material) in February 2018 amounted to Rp.4.461.000.000,00 consisting of several kinds of fabric such as balotelli, wollfis, buble pop, jersy dain others.
This momentum should be the beginning for the development and growth of the real Small and Medium Industry in Bandung and West Java province, especially the convection industry so it is expected that economic growth will increase.
Saipullah added that the Directorate General of Customs and Excise in carrying out the Trade Facilitator and Industrial Assistance functions will always be committed to support the government's efforts to encourage the growth of the national economy as one of the realization of the Nawacita and Trisakti Priority Program.
