    PT. DI Submits NC212-200 for the Air Force


    BANDUNG-It has been implemented ceremony of reception NC 212-200 aircraft in Lanud Abdul Rachman Saleh, Malang, East Java (15/2). In a press release from the Public Relations of PT. DI, the aircraft would be used for the Air Squadron 4 Wing 2 operational at Lanud Abdul Rachman Saleh, Malang, East Java.

    This ceremony led by Air Base Commander Abdurrahman Saleh, Air Commodore TNI H. RM. Djoko Senoputro, S.E., and attended by representatives of PT. DI, namely, General Director and HR of PT. DI Sukatwikanto along with invited guests from the Air Force.

    PT. DI has managed to send a variety of NC 212 aircraft series for the Army as much as 32 units up to the end of 2015 and by the submission one unit of NC 212-200 aircraft to the Air Force today, it has added the total number that submitted to the TNI to 33 units or the ninth of NC212 aircrafts series submitted to the air Force.

    “it proves the seriousness of PT. DI to help meet the military defence equipment in order to maintain the integrity and sovereignty of the nation and state. In addition, as a commitment in the construction and development power of air force,” said General Director and HR PT. DI Sukatwikanto.

    NC212-200 aircraft is a light transport aircraft designed to operate in pioneer areas or small airports with minimum infrastructure and have unpaved runways.

    The cargo compartment can accommodate 18 passengers and their luggage, or 16 completed paratroopers, including being able to load a vehicle in it. For medical evacuation by air, this aircraft has 12 stretchers, two seats for medical attendant. A rear loading ramp may be used to deploy paratroopers.

    In 1976 was the beginning of cooperation with the Spanish CASA aircraft to produce under license of NC212-100/200. The cooperation continues to run well that marked with entrusted by Airbus Military to manufacture and market under license of NC212-400 air in 2006.
