BANDUNG - PT Len Industri (Persero) is collaborating with the Bulgarian International Power Supply (IPS) company that is experienced in the development and conversion of energy technology. Approved cooperation is to maximize the ability of the parties to improve resources and expertise in education, research and development of renewable energy and electricity technologies.
President Director Len, Zaky Gamal Yasin explained as a promoter in solar energy form of cooperation that will be woven with IPS.
"Among them is developing renewable energy in Indonesia along with ITB and Unhan so that it can be used more efficiently and effectively," Zaky said in a press release on Saturday (24/2).
Len has previously worked with BPPT to develop and apply solar energy since 1986. Currently, Len is also renovating its solar panel production facility to improve efficiency and production capacity.
Also attending the signing ceremony were the Indonesian Embassy in Sofia and The Purnomo Yusgiantoro Center, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Ignatius Jonan, IPS CEO Alexander Rangelov and Indonesian Ambassador to Bulgaria Astari Rasjid.
The group from IPS visited Len's headquarters in Bandung for further discussions and review of existing solar module manufacturing facilities. Len and IPS will develop new technologies to make investments in solar energy cheaper.
Furthermore, the plan will be arranged to fit the needs and plans of new renewable energy development in Indonesia. In addition, Zaky said in the future will also be formed team designer cooperation. With this team, it is expected to develop in detail the things that will be cooperated between Len and IPS.
Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ignatius Jonan who attended the event appreciated the cooperation between Len and IPS. Jonan hopes that in the future Len and IPS can develop new renewable energy in Indonesia.
"I am happy ultimately Len and IPS establish cooperation like this, IPS who have experience in renewable energy can be applied with Len. Hope can help develop and apply new renewable energy in Indonesia. Its roadmap is something that can be implemented quickly and developed annually, "said Jonan.jo
