    Chairman of West Java Parliament Asks Stay away from Money and SARA Politics


    BANDUNG- Chairman of West Java Provincial DPRD, Ineu Purwadewi Sundari asserted to stay away from the practice of money politics and SARA issues for the creation of West Java election with integrity.

    He considers the Declaration of Reject and Opposing Politics of Money and Politicization of SARA for Pilkada 2018 The integrity initiated by the Election Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) of West Java Province is quite important in the implementation of the elections which will take place on 27 June 2018.

    "This declaration is important to be done in order to create a pilkada Jabar with integrity," said Ineu told reporters in Trans Studio Bandung, Wednesday night (14/2/2018).

    He gave an example of the SARA issue that occurred in Jakarta elections some time ago in order not to happen again in the implementation of Jabar election. The reason, the event is very disturbing constellation of the ongoing elections.

    "I do not want to be like the previous election in DKI Jakarta with the issue of SARA in circulation, which is very disturbing to the constellation of the election," said Ineu.

    In addition, the Chairman of West Java DPRD also expect Jabar elections able to reject money politics and SARA for the pilkada will simultaneously be a party that can be a democracy with integrity so that walking is safe and peaceful.

    One of the efforts to make it happen, Ineu said, it will conduct a massive supervision on the implementation of elections that will take place in West Java.

    "With today's declaration, we must commit ourselves together in realizing peaceful elections in West Java," said Ineu.

    Ineu confirmed if there is money politics and SARA issues to be dealt with firmly in accordance with applicable regulations.

    "There must be firm action against money politicians and disseminating SARA issues," he concluded.
