BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) took the time to visit one of the popular tourist attraction Keraton Cliff located within the area of ??Forest Park (Tahura) Ir. H. Djuanda. He wants to make sure that changes made by managers have a positive impact on the climatic conditions of the cliff. Keraton cliffs is one of the points that are crossed by the migratory path of the Raptor Bird of the world.
Aher explained since 2014 Karaton Cliff has become one of the most popular tourist attraction in the Greater Bandung area. "Tourists who come not only from the archipelago even from abroad. The distance is also quite close from the center of Bandung, approximately 14 Km or 7 Km from the door Post 1 Tahura Ir. H. Djuanda, "he told West Java Public Relation Team while enjoying the sunrise view, Tuesday (13/02/2018).
To facilitate the access of tourists, according to Aher, Management Hall of Tahura Ir. H. Djuanda once conducted the arrangement of Keraton Cliff by building various facilities including the installation of paving block on the tracking track and selasarnya in 2014. Apparently it has changed the micro climate on the cliffs located at an altitude of 1200 masl. This causes the temperature in the cliff area to increase more than before.
The impact, away from the mist fog around the cliff Keraton. Directly or indirectly it can also disrupt the migration path of the Raptor Bird world. "Whereas one of the attractions of this Keraton Cliff is a sunrise or sunset tour that is very beautiful and charming with a thick blanketed fog," said Aher.
"In addition, high moisture problems have had an effect on the moss-covered paving block conditions that are becoming slippery especially if the rainy season arrives," he added.
In May 2017, the Governor of Aher has inaugurated this Keraton Cliff as a tourist spot as well as the Center for Migratory Bird Migration Monitoring of the World.
"Therefore, in an effort to restore the condition of micro climates around the Keraton Cliff and improve its function as a center for monitoring the world raptor migration, it is necessary to structuring the cliffs of Keraton Cloth by lifting the paving that has been installed and then replacing it with a more environmentally friendly material and designed in such a way so that in general does not stick directly with the ground, "he explained.
The process of structuring Selasar Tebing Keraton is implemented in 2017 funded by the West Java Provincial APBD. The next arrangement, according to Aher, will be encouraged through CSR partner funding mechanism of 2018 and through APBD 2019.
