Provincial Government of West Java Push the Use of Information Technology

BANDUNG - West Java Provincial Government encourages increased utilization of information technology potential by all universities in West Java. Information technology, including startup, is considered able to increase the entrepreneurial and economic entrepreneurs in West Java.

This was disclosed Secretary of West Java Provincial Government, Iwa Karniwa.

"Information technology in the present is something that must be mastered. We inform the college friends, what kind of West Java in the future. The role of these friends will be where to go," said Iwa, Sunday (11/2).

Iwa said in this modern era, just like information technology, connectivity in the form of transportation is needed by the community. Not only coverage between cities or districts, but between areas such as Bandung Raya, Cirebon Raya, or East Priangan.

To increase connectivity between regions, he said, West Java Provincial Government continues to build a number of infrastructure such as toll roads and railways. Currently, he said, the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road, the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan Toll Road, and the Cileunyi-Garut-Tasikmalaya-Banjar Toll Road project have already passed the feasibility study stage.

The construction of a fast railway line, he said, is being built and will be connected with the construction of Bandung Raya Raya's light rail transit (LRT) which will connect Padalarang and Cimahi with Tanjungsari, Gedebage with Majalaya and Soreang, and other routes.

"Not to mention we are building a wider Kertajati Airport than Soekarno Hatta Airport, we also built Port Patimban, which is part of our consensus, in addition to community service and human resources improvement," he said.

Iwa appreciate ITB step that has been transformed from research university into a college of entrepreneur or entrepreneur printers. It is hoped that with other universities that are also committed to print new entrepreneurs, 3 percent of the population of entrepreneurs in Indonesia can be boosted. (Even)
