    Victims of Domestic Violence and Human Traficking Must Be Empowered


    BANDUNG - The Head of Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Empowerment (P2TP2A) West Java Province Netty Prasetyani Heryawan affirmed that women victims of Domestic Violence and victims of trafficking should be empowered. This was revealed by Netty in the Dialog Community Dialogue in Bandung, Friday (9/1/2018).

    "They must be empowered, must have the skills and be able to depend on it" he said.

    Some efforts to empower women victims include by providing skills training in various fields.

    "We've been working with clothing designers, culinary businessmen and others, where they can be apprentices while studying, or have special skills training classes," Netty said.

    In the dialogue Netty also convey the importance of cooperation between various parties with the government in the empowerment of women.

    "This is no longer only the responsibility of the government, but it is the responsibility of all of us including the community." Pemeberdayaan will be stronger grounded if there is a willingness of the community itself, "he said.
