    February 1, West Java Provincial Government Consistently Apply Online Transport Rules


    BANDUNG-Head of Department of Transportation West Java Provincial Government, Dedi Taufik asserted, the application of Permenhub No 108/2017 on the online transportation aka special lease (ASK) which will apply nationally as of Thursday, February 1, 2017.

    Simultaneously, Dedi asks all parties to comply with the existing regulations because there is a national consensus that is confirmed through the decision of the Minister of Transportation.

    "I hope all parties, especially the online transporters will obey the rules, ranging from the quota of vehicles, tariffs, car markers, etc. If there is input, submit orderly to be a joint evaluation forward," he said in a press release to the team Humas Jabar in Bandung, Tuesday (30/1/2018) afternoon.

    West Java Provincial Government has set a total planning requirement of ASK car quota of 7,709 vehicles.

    The details, continued Dedi, are Bandung Raya operation area (Bandung City, Cimahi City, Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency, and Sumedang Regency) 4,542 vehicles; Cirebon Raya (Cirebon City, Cirebon Regency, Kuningan Regency, Majalengka Regency, and Indramayu District) 1.343 vehicles; Purwasuka (Purwakarta Regency, Subang Regency, and Kabupaten Karawang) 527 vehicles.

    Then Sukabumi (Sukabumi City, Sukabumi Regency, and Cianjur Regency) 723 vehicles; and Priangan (Tasikmalaya City, Banjar City, Tasikmalaya Regency, Garut Regency, Ciamis Regency and Pangandaran Regency) 574 vehicles.

    "From that amount, based on the selection of legal and regulatory aspects, 640 quota of ASK transported online are not eligible, including legal entities with at least 5 vehicles and according SIUP and TDP, we are encouraged to immediately meet these requirements for the sake of mutual convenience, "he said.

    The selection itself is objective because it is made by a cross-sector selection team such as West Java Transportation Department, Organda, Jasa Raharja, Cooperative Service, DPMPST, and transportation observer.

    According to Dedi, the quota granting mechanism is done gradually for a period of five years and evaluated for at least one year.

    "All of them are also based on formal legality, among others the results of calculation using linear regression method according to PM 108/2017, news of discussion meeting on 17 July 2017, study and proposal from regency / city, and letter from Organda West Java dated November 10, 2017 about proposal operating areas, quota numbers, and tariffs, "he said.

    Dedi said the number of quotas is in accordance with Permenhub 108/2017.

    "We have done the calculations in the Permenhub, so we calculate the quota from the regional rise, demand and growth, demand for space," he said, saying the calculation of quotas can be scientifically and implemented on the ground.

    Dedi urged all parties to respect and comply with the rules as of February 1, 2018 because it will not be ASK quota in the field later, even the border area of ??operation was already fixed.
