    Empower the Real Sector and SMEs Through Food Resilience Program


    BANDUNG REGENCY- Bank Indonesia West Java Province is committed to continue to empower the real sector and Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME), one of them through food security program.

    According to the Head of West Java Provincial Bank Representative, Wiwiek Sisto Widayat, to empower the real sector and MSMEs can not be done spatially, but BI believes that synergy between agencies and agencies will give maximum impact to the development of the real sector through cluster development.

    "The development of red onion commodity agribusiness in Bandung Regency by involving farmer groups is expected to grow and involve other farmer groups," said Wiwiek, after the MoU of Agricultural Agribusiness Development Program on Commodity of Red Onion in Mekarmanik Village, Cimenyan Sub-district, Bandung Regency, Tuesday 30/01).

    Wiwiek said, seeing from the geographical condition of Bandung Regency that majority of mountains, has a huge potential to develop agriculture, especially onion commodities in addition to other agricultural commodities.

    "Regency of Bandung is good for onion, and has great potential because besides supported by security also local government have commitment to continuity of commodity of onion so it will easy to run," he said. (Parno)
