BANDUNG - Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) held a socialization of new admissions. The socialization of new student acceptance of ITB through SNMPTN (National Selection of State University Entrance) and SBMPTN (Selection Together In State University) 2018 is done in stages twice.
The first stage of socialization was completed on Tuesday (23/1/2018) for schools in the western part of West Java Province, held in the West Hall ITB. The second phase of socialization will be held for schools in eastern part of West Java at ITB Jatinangor campus next Tuesday (30/1/2018).
Achmad Syarief, Deputy Executive Director of Graduate and Vocational Admissions from the Executive Directorate of Management of Admissions and Education Cooperation (DEKTM) said this socialization in the preparation series before SNMPTN and SBMPTN 2018 conducted by ITB to be well known by teachers, especially in West Java.
SNMPTN 2018 is a college entrance selection line based on academic achievement of prospective students, while SBMPTN is a selection path based on written test held jointly through an integrated system under the coordination of the Central Committee SNMPTN and SBMPTN 2018. Percentage of new admissions quota ITB for SNMPTN as much as 60 percent , and SBMPTN 40 percent.
Representatives of schools who are unable to attend this dissemination need not worry, as they can still access new student admissions information through the official website of the SNMPTN Central Committee and SBMPTN 2018. Since 2011, ITB is no longer open new admissions through independent channels. ITB only accepts new students through SNMPTN and SBMPTN.
