BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government through Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Prov. Jabar moved quickly to check the three locations and logistical sufficiency of the area affected by the largest Lebak earthquake, namely Cianjur, Bogor, and Sukabumi.
The tectonic earthquake that occurred in the Indian Ocean Region on Tuesday (23/1/18) at 13:34 pm 6.1 magnitude occurred occurred at sea at a distance of 43 KM southwest of Lebak Regency of Banten Province at a depth of 64 KM.

"The three largest affected areas, with a total impact of 96 units of damaged houses including 33 heavily damaged homes. Recorded one unit of SMK buildings, health centers, places of worship and three units of buildings / offices also affected. We also recorded eight people injured in this earthquake, "explained Dicky in Bandung, Wednesday (24/01/18).
For the inventory of affected area logistics, BPBD Jabar still do data collection whether it is necessary additional or sufficient. Dicky explained that his side has a mechanism of routinely distributing logistic aid annually to all cities / kab in West Java as emergency stock. "Last we distributed in August 2017. This as a precaution in case of disaster, logistics needs can be channeled directly to the victim," he said.
These Logistics Supplies include ready-to-eat foods, side dishes, nutritional supplements, clothing, blankets, roll tents, masks, sandbags, school supplies, dinnerware, recreational packages, kitchen utensils, kidsware, family kits and family health.
