Jakarta - Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar attended the coordination meetings (rakor) related to the integrated Light Rail Transit (LRT) in Jabodebek and proposed changing of the regulation 98/2015 on accelerating the implementation of Light Rail Transit in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi, Wednesday (03/02/2016).
"It has been explained about the payments to PT. Adhi Karya as the assignment in regulation, and then the trace in Bekasi that overlap with KCIC. There should be a revision of Presidential Decree No. 54 of 2008 on Jabodetabek-Punjur relate the spatial,” said Vice Governor after the coordination meeting.
Previously known that Presidential Regulation No. 98/2015 for the assignment of the construction to PT. Adhi Karya published on September 2, 2015. Then on September 9, 2015 was conducted the groundbreaking which signed the construction started. On December 2, 2015, it has been carried out the delivery of technical documents and budget by PT. Adhi Karya. While the contract has being discussed with the Ministry of Transportation.
“As a follow up, the contract planned will be signed at the end of February. However, the revision of Presidential Regulation 98/2015 is necessary needed related the confirmation of payment that includes a component of interest during construction (IDC) as well as clarify the payments mechanise gradually,” said Vice Governor.
Vice Governor also hoped that Jakarta governance can also be cooperated with PT. KAI in order to operate this program in 2018 when it hosted the ASEAN GAMES.
The potential obstacles are the existence of overlap trace (trace Jatibening - West Bekasi) with the high-speed railway. KCIC provided the new land for the LRT alignment.
It was also presented by Economy Coordinator Minister Darmin Nasution, Coordinating Minister for Maritime and Resources Rizal Ramli, Transportation Minister Ignatius Jonan, West Java Assistant II Deny Juanda, and Transportation Department Head Dedi Taufik.
