    West Java Committed Involving Tuna Netra in Development


    BANDUNG-The desire from Tuna Netra (lacking sight) that incorporated in the Persatuan Tunanetra Indonesia (Indonesian Blind Union) being subject in development was echoed by Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar.

    According to him, West Java Provincial Government was committed to always involve them as human resources potential.

    "West Java Provincial Government is also committed to continue performing alignments and involve persons with disabilities in each development process, as well as persons with disabilities as human investment to be given the widest opportunity to develop themselves in various aspects,” said Vice Governor in his speech, Saturday (30/1).

    Vice Governor revealed efforts from Pemprov are embodied in the form of Regulation No. 10 Year 2016 on the Implementation of the Protection of Persons with Disabilities, Regulation No. 10 Year 2012 on the Implementation of Social Welfare, as well as legislation No. 7 Year 2013 on the Implementation of Inclusive Education. This regulation is a policy direction to give full attention rights of persons with disabilities in West Java.

    In addition, other commitments given West Java provincial govt in 2013 was declared that West Java province as Inclusive province is expected all society, including persons with disabilities can get quality education, health, and welfare.
