BANDUNG- The number of new entrepreneurs in Indonesia is still slightly less than the number of entrepreneurs who are in neighboring countries of Indonesia, such as Singapore state that reached 7 percent, Malaysia 5 percent, and Thailand 4.5 percent of the total population in the country.
President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi) stated, the need to change the paradigm way of thinking to increase the number of new entrepreneurs who currently only reach 3.31% of the total population of Indonesia.
"Right now the first important thing to change the paradigm after college does not want to be all employees," said President, in his presentation on Entrepreneurs Wanted event! (EW!) At Gedung Sasana Budaya Ganesha (Sabuga) ITB, Monday (18/12).
According to the President, students who are still in college and especially high school students have a great opportunity to fill the business space to become entrepreneurs who are still a little.
"Being an entrepreneur as an option is not compulsion, nature is different now, you can have the freedom to inspire endlessly through innovation," he said.
The President invites new entrepreneurs (startup) to keep learning from anyone and continue to strive to become a successful entrepreneur.
"Do not be afraid to fail, do not give up easily, such as bankruptcy rise again.Everything that has been successful must have experienced a failure in the business world," he said. (Parno)
