BANDUNG - National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) recorded damage to houses and buildings caused by a magnitude 6.9 earthquake that rocked South West Java on Friday (15/12) at 23:47 pm has caused the death and 2,935 houses damaged.
Based on the release received by www.Jabarprov.go.id, preliminary data on Sunday (17/12) at 14:30 WIB, the impact of the earthquake caused 4 people died, 11 people were seriously injured, 25 people slightly injured, 451 houses severely damaged, 579 houses were moderately damaged, and 1,905 houses were slightly damaged.
In addition, there were 46 school / madrasah damages, 38 units of worship, 9 offices and 4 hospitals and puskesmas as well as 200 people displaced in Pamarican District, Ciamis Regency.
The victim died was Hj. Dede Lutfi (60) resident of Ciamis hit by building, Masiah (55) resident of Ciamis who suffered heart attack during earthquake, Aminah (80) resident of Pekalongan City hit by collapsed building, and Fatimah (34) Bantul citizen who fell during earthquake and died in hospital .
