JAKARTA - The Governor of West Java was awarded Paramakarya Productivity from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia as it has been successful in providing support and guidance to large, medium and small business actors, thus increasing the productivity of the business world.
The award was awarded by Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Jusuf Kalla, and received by Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar, at the 2017 Paramakarya Award, held in Multipurpose Room, Ministry of Manpower Building, Jendral Gatot Subroto Street Jakarta, Friday (08/12/2017 ).
Vice President Jusuf Kalla expressed his appreciation to productive business actors, as well as innovative in developing products, thus providing added value and competitiveness.
Vice President JK also encourages the improvement of the quality of human resources, through education and training.
The improvement efforts are one of them through the Training Center (BLK) scattered in various regions. So the Vice President encourages local governments to increase the budget for BLK in order to increase the expected labor productivity.
"If it does not make good products, can be lost with other countries products such as China, Vietnamese products, Thai products," said Vice President JK.
While Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia Hanif Dhakiri said, Paramakarya productivity award is a national award given every two years in odd years.
This awards, continued Dhakiri, is one of the efforts to encourage continuous productivity improvement among business as a central key to the creation of national welfare.
"This is the 9th workshop since it was first held in 1993," Dhakiri said.
This year, 30 companies consist of one big company, 14 medium-sized companies and 15 small companies, which succeeded in increasing their productivity for three consecutive years, obtaining the 2018 Paramakarya award.
"The 2017 Productivity Productivity Award, provided through an administrative valuation mechanism as well as a technical assessment using Malcolm Baldrige Criteria," Dhakiri said.
Besides increasing productivity, Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar, also continue to encourage citizens who have not plunged into the business world, to dare to become entrepreneurs.
"In the era of free market later, we should not only as a consumer but also a producer, the food should be driven as many new entrepreneurs in West Java," said Vice Governor Deddy Mizwar Jabar.
By the year 2030, Deddy illustrates that Indonesia is forecast to be one of 7 global economic powers. So according to him, being a businessman is the right choice.
In addition, Deddy also encourages entrepreneurs to technology literate in order to expand its market opportunities.
"So technology should still be used, including in the business world," said Deddy.

Then UD Acceleration Central Kalimantan, Aneka Rendang Asese West Sumatera, Gaharu Plaza Indonesia Riau, Putri Bengkulu, CV Nacha, Celebes Mushroom Farm, PD Mawaddah Umulyatama Lampung, CV Serai Wangi Makmur Abadi, CV Sambal CUK East Java, Alminana South Sulawesi, Asri Rahayu West Java, Ulos Sianipar North Sumatra, UKM Makmur Jaya Maluku, and Dumbo Jaya North Sumatra.
