BANDUNG-Eight of the best digital startup has been chosen as the winner in Lintasarta Appcelerate 2017. This event is held by Lintasarta in cooperation with three state universities, namely Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Gadjah Mada University (UGM), and Institute of Technology Sepuluh November (ITS).
"Lintasarta and LPIK ITB, GIB UGM, and BPPU ITS spawned eight startups from different categories, all of which are good, all the best, and the products from Appcelerate will be marketed in Lintasarta's Cloud Marketplace," said IT Service Director Lintasarta Arya N. Soemali, in a press release on Friday (8/12).
The eight startups are Pijar (online psychology), Pasienia (patient community), Iwak (fisheries logistics distribution), Ready Doc (CRM for doctors and clinics), Halofina (Personal Finance Assistant and SME), Cityplan (Urban Planning Platform) Nelbi (Smart Power Device), and Siguri (Integrated Security Device).
The eight startups above are the chosen startup after following the incubation and acceleration period for 3 months at their respective universities, along with other finalists. During the incubation period, the pilot businesses have received mentoring, product and business development guidance through various programs involving Lintasarta's board of directors.
The eight startups get the best judgment from the jury beating the other candidates and are also rated to meet the category of problem solving, usefulness, commercial value, and business value. The jury is the board of directors, general manager of Lintasarta, and the head of business incubator from 3 colleges.
After the final presentation in front of the jury, in the awarding night held at Millenium Hotel, Jakarta has announced the best team from every university namely Pijar (UGM), HaloFina (ITB), and Siguri (ITS).
