    Demiz: Lack of Public Confidence Triggers Hoax News


    BANDUNG-The emergence of false or hoax news circulating in social media is triggered by the lack of public confidence in the mass media.

    This was expressed by Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar when opening seminar on Hoax anticipation in simultaneous elections 2018 in West Java and Test Competence Journalist (UKW) in Bandung, Tuesday (04/12/2017)

    Deddy Mizwar reveals, nowadays people need factual information coming from credible sources but the existence of few mainstream media sometimes shows the alignment and even cornering certain parties.
