BANDUNG - West Java Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) mentions star hotel GROUP in October 2017 amounted to 56.33 percent, up 2.13 points compared to the ROR of September 2017 which reached 54.20 percent. Non-star hotel TPK reached 41.05 percent, up 2.26 points compared to September 2017 which reached 38.79 percent.
"During the period of October 2016 to October 2017 TPK of star hotel group is always higher than non-star hotel TPK," said Doddy Herlando, West Java Head of BPS, Monday (4/11)
The occupancy rate of star hotel rooms in October 2017 increased compared to September 2017. The increase in star-hotels' TPK in October 2017 was due to the rise of 1, 2-star and 4-star hotels TPK, while TPK for 3-star and 5-star hotels decreased.
The highest TPK by star class hotel in October 2017 was recorded at 2 star hotels by 68.26 percent, followed by 4 star hotels by 59.73 percent, 5 star hotels by 52.39 percent and 1 star hotels by 50.92 percent. The lowest RPL occurred in 3 star hotels by 48.62 percent.
Non-star hotel TPK in October 2017 amounted to 41.05 percent, up 2.26 points compared to September 2017 which recorded 38.79 percent. The highest TPK is in hotels with more than 40 room groups of 46.81 percent. While the lowest non-star hotel TPK of 24.16 percent occurred in hotels with less than 10. jo group room
