    Airport Train Operates December 1st


    BANDUNG-Airport train will officially operate December 1, 2017. To ensure readiness, SOE Minister Rini Soemarno, took the time to try it on Tuesday (28/11).

    PT Len Industri (Persero) becomes one of the SOEs that play an overall role in signaling system, both in design system, integration, engineering, installation and test & commissioning to Airport Train can function well.

    President Director of PT Len Industri, Zakky Gamal Yasin, said that Len's subsidiary, PT Len Railway Systems, is working on its signature of Batu Ceper Station - Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station.

    "We have this contract since February 2016 to complete the St. Ceper - St. Basoetta route on Tuesday night.

    For the people, this train will be an attractive mode of transportation to reach Soekarno-Hatta International Airport which is only accessible by bus, taxi and private car.

    The Soekarno-Hatta Airport railway consists of 10 trainsets with a capacity of 33,000 passengers per day. Airport train is equipped with various facilities at the station and during the trip. 1 (one) trainset consists of 6 trains capable of transporting 272 passengers.

    Airport Train will serve passengers at 5 stations, namely: Manggarai Station, Sudirman Baru Station, Duri Station, Batu Ceper Station, and Soekarno-Hatta Airport Station. Train departures are every 30 minutes from St. Sudirman Baru and Soekarno-Hatta Station. Departure schedule starts at 03.00 am in the morning until 23.00 pm with 40-50 minutes travel time. Jo
