    Provinces and 20 Cities / Regencies in West Java Achieve Swasti Saba 2017

    JAKARTA-West Java Provincial Government was named as healthy province in Provincial Healthy City / Regency Counselor category by Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health together with two other provinces namely Special Region of Yogjakarta and South Sulawesi Province.

    It is determined based on Letter of Minister of Home Affairs no. 005/8994 / Bangda, dated November 22, 2017, signed by Plt. Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Diah Indrajati.

    The award, titled Swasti Saba, was received directly by Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar (Demiz), in Sasana Bhakti Praja Room, Ministry of Home Affairs, Merdeka Utara Street, No. 7, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (28/11/2017).

    Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar said, healthy cities/ regencies are a clean, comfortable, safe and healthy for the inhabitants of the population. It is achieved through the implementation of several arrangements and integrated activities and has been agreed by the community with local government.

    "This organization prioritizes the process rather than the target, so it runs continuously with priority activities in a regional setting and it is achieved in a timely manner appropriate to the community's ability," said Vice Governor Deddy Mizwar.

    The Swasti Saba Award is a form of appreciation for the efforts that have been mobilized in the process of becoming the Regency / City, to the healthy Province, through the efforts of the Healthy Living Community Movement (Germas) by promoting community empowerment.

    In addition, there are 20 regencies / cities in West Java who successfully won Swasti Saba 2017, Swasti Award Saba Wistara given to the City of Sukabumi and Cirebon. Swasti Saba Wiwerda won by Banjar City, Cimahi City, Bandung City, Tasikmalaya City, Kuningan Regency, West Bandung Regency, Subang Regency, Sumedang Regency and Indramayu Regency.

    While Swasti Saba Padapa Award was achieved by Cirebon City, Bogor City, Depok City, Bekasi City, Karawang Regency, Bogor Regency, Sukabumi Regency, Bandung Regency and Garut Regency.

    "For that I congratulate the 20 cities / regencies, team coaches, and City Healthy forum," said Demiz.

    Demiz hopes that seven other districts in West Java, namely Purwakarta Regency, Bekasi Regency, Tasikmalaya Regency, Ciamis Regency, Pangandaran Regency, Majalengka Regency and Cianjur Regency can be encouraged to pursue similar achievements.

    "Hopefully next year all regency / city in West Java has become Healhty Regency / City in its respective stages," he said.

    The other regencies / cities in Indonesia are awarded among others, Sosel District, Tanah Datar, Pessel, Lima Puluh Kota, Solok, Agam, Sijunjung, Dharmasraya, Pasbar, Siak, Bintan, Tebo, Bangka, West Bangka, Gunung Kidul, Bantul Sleman, Lumajang, Magetan, Ngawi, Tulung Agung, Pacitan, Lamongan, Banyuwangi, Situbondo, Ponorogo, Kediri, Blitar, Gresik, Trenggalek, Pasuruan, Jombang, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto, Tuban, Nganjuk, Bangli, Klungkung, Banjar Baru, Nunukan , Bulungan, Sidrap, Kep. Selayar, Wajo, Bulukumba, Jeneponto, Luwu Utara, Soppeng, Bantaeng, Pinrang, North Toraja, Bone, Maros, Luwuk, Sinjai, Barru, Gowa, Luwuk, East Luwu, Bau-bau, Minahasa Utara, Bolmut, Mintra and Pohuwato.
