    Regent of Pangandaran inaugurated West Java BI Cash Deposit at Bjb Pangandaran Branch


    BANDUNG-Bank Indonesia Tasikmalaya opened a cash deposit at Bank Jabar Banten (bjb) Pangandaran Branch, West Java, Tuesday (21/11). The opening of the office is done to improve the service to local people who are far from the BI office.

    The signing of the cash deposit opening cooperation agreement was conducted directly by the Head of BI Representative Tasikmalaya Wahyu Hidayat S. with the leadership of Bjb Pangandaran Branch Dede E. Wahyudi, witnessed directly by Pangandaran Regent H. Jeje Wiradinata, Head of West Java BI Wiwiek Sisto Widayat, Pinnwil III bjb Wawan Mulyawan, Head of OJK Tasikmalaya Asep Ruswandi, Head Cash Center Group bjb David Kurniawan.

    Chief Representative of West Java Province of West Java Wiwiek Sisto Widayat said as mandated in Act No. 23 of 1999, the last amended by law No. 6 of 2009, one of the main tasks and functions of BI is to regulate and maintain the smooth payment system.

    In addition, it has been mandated by Act No. 7 of 2011 concerning Currency, BI has the authority and duties of rupiah money management starting from planning, printing, expenditure, circulation, and revocation and withdrawal, until destruction.

    "Based on the task and principal of BI, opened a cash deposit in bjb Pangandaran Branch, in order to meet the needs and services to the community in obtaining money.

    Previously West Java BI has also opened a cash deposit in bjb Sukabumi and Subang, the inauguration in Pangandaran is cooperation with 5 other commercial banks namely bjb, Mandiri, BNI, BRI and BWS.

    The inauguration is the third tranche in West Java and 106 in Indonesia.

    The inauguration was done by beating the gong and ribbon cutting by Regent Pangandaran H. Jeje Wiradinata and Head of West Java BI Wiwiek Sisto Widayat. Jo
