BANDUNG-Three regencies in West Java namely Purwakarta, Indramayu and Pangandaran regencies are the priority areas of AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) work in Indonesia, in addition to the government and hospitals and a number of NGOs in the province.
According to Country Program Manager AHF Indonesia, Riki Febrian, AHF implements two priority strategies in running its programs, which are HIV prevention and testing programs and HIV-related disease care and treatment programs.
"Both strategies are implemented in various countries that have AHF support in helping HIV / AIDS, including in Indonesia, West Java in particular," said Riki, through a release received by www.Jabarprov.go.id.
Riki said that in order to improve its performance, AHF Indonesia needs to improve coordination and consolidation with various stakeholders in the region, especially Health Office from provincial and regency / city level.
"As an international organization that has only one year of working in Indonesia, AHF needs to improve communication with its partner government," he said. (Parno)
