BANDUNG- Perum Bulog West Java Regional Division continues to absorb rice and grain from farmers to achieve the procurement target this year of 611,365 tons.
"Until November 6, 2017, our total absorption has reached 373,256 tons of rice," said Head of West Java Bulog, Sugit Tedjo Mulyono, during an introduction to reporters in Bandung, Tuesday (7/11).
Sugit was recorded as the new Head of West Java Bulog about a month ago replacing the previous official Abdul Muis who was promoted to Bulog Center.
He said rice stock in Bulog West Java Regional Division currently has been able to achieve the resistance of 5.8 months or reach 197.210 tons that can be used for market operations. He further mentioned the realization of Prosperous Rice (Rastra) until November 6, 2017 has reached 334,484 tons or 84.53%.
West Java Bulog has also sent rice out of Java as much as 129,979 tons. Jo
