BANDUNG - President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo said, the government will present Micro Waqf Bank to be juxtaposed with various economic activities in boarding schools.
"In this month we will open Micro Waqf Bank which we will be left on the right side of the boarding school, but also we check the boarding school should have a business community around it," he said.
The President hopes, in this program there is no interest on credit but more for operational costs that amount not more than 3 percent per year.
"The rate hopefully will not be there, but it just like in Dubai UAE exposed to operational costs of 2 percent or 3 percent per year," said Jokowi, in friendship with the Central Executive Board of Islamic Unity (Persis), Perintis Kemerdekaan Street No.2, Tuesday (17/10) night.
The President hopes, with the Micro Waqf Bank will provide convenience in getting access to capital for the community, especially boarding school.
