    West Java Provincial Government and Director General of Taxes Collaborate on Collecting Taxes


    BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government with Directorate General (Directorate General of Taxes) Ministry of Finance signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation the use of Smart Card Taxpayer Identification Number and Optimization of Tax Reception Center, Regional Tax and Levy.

    Director General of Taxation Ministry of Finance Ken Dwijugiasteadi said, through this cooperation the Directorate General of Taxation will provide applets Kartin 1 into the Jabar Ngahiji Card provided by West Java Provincial Government.

    "Jabar Ngahiji Card is a tax smart card that can be used for facilities for the people of West Java to get service from the Directorate General of Taxation and West Java Provincial Government," he said at Gedung Sate (18/10).

    The scope of the memorandum of understanding includes the use of smart cards, coordination and assistance in the implementation of smart cards, improvement of tax service to the community, and the optimization of local taxes and levies through cooperation of data and information utilization.

    "This memorandum of understanding will be valid for a period of five years and may be extended," he explained.
