    DEMIZ: Fishermen Must Complete Population Administration


    CIREBON-Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar asks fishermen to complete the administration, either demography or other administrations.

    Demiz greeting familiar Deddy Mizwar said, administration is important in ensuring fishermen to be able to get various government programs.

    He cited, currently the government has an environmentally friendly fishing line replacement program that can only be given to fishermen who have been registered.

    "There are also fishermen's insurance, to have insurance, fishermen must have a fisherman card," said Demiz during the distribution of aid and distribution of environmentally friendly fishing equipment replacement from the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries in Cirebon on Thursday (12/10).

    He revealed, in West Java there are about 100,000 fishermen, but who have registered and have a new fishing card about 57,000 people only.

    Whereas Demiz said, more than 90% of fishing vessels in West Java under 5 GT which they do not need to apply for sea fishing to catch fish, but only register the vessel just as the requirements of registration of fishermen.

    "Register the boat and its crew, free of charge do not have to pay and many benefits, can get help also can follow insurance," he said.

    He hopes that fishermen who have been registered to invite other fishermen to register and complete the administration.

    "Those who already have insurance must also have a population administration, so that if there is anything, heirs can make claims without any problems," he said. (Even)
