BANDUNG- In the event of IMAGE 2017 (Indonesia Middle East Annual Gathering on Economic) which is a meeting with Middle East business delegation, West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan gave his speech in Arabic, giving welcome (Ahlan Wa Sahlan) to entrepreneurs and investors from the Middle East.
The inauguration of the event was marked by putting on Sundanese Iket which is the hallmark of West Java to the participants of Middle East business delegation followed by a photo together.
Aher said that the signing of Sister Province with several provinces in the Middle East countries in business and economy has been carried out. He expressed readiness to exchange ideas offering business opportunities in West Java and vice versa.
"We have already signed the MoU Sister Province between West Java Province and some provinces in Middle Eastern Countries, one of them is Morocco," Aher said at IMAGE 2017 Press Conference at Gedung Sate, Bandung, West Java, Monday (09/10/2017).
The participants of IMAGE 2017 are from Yemen, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia and other Middle East countries.
The purpose of this activity, among others, to encourage and spur superior sectors of West Java, including tea and coffee. It also opens cooperation in various fields such as agriculture, plantation, tourism, technology and research between West Java Province with other provinces in Middle East and wide open potentials in West Java to be able to synergize with other provinces in the Middle East.
