BANDUNG-The West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati construction project, currently has been 100% taken over by the Central Government.
West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan affirmed, the decision was taken after his meeting with the President.
"So after meeting with the president last week, BIJB finally taken over by central government, because it is considered as projects supporting the accelerated development,” said Ahmad Heryawan at Gedung Sate, Monday (18/1).
Through the taking over BIJB development project by central government, it means that PT. BIJB has no longer carry out development activities.
“PT. BIJB will be pursued participate in the operational management of airports,” he said.
Aher was also mentioned, with the expropriation of BIJB development expected the development of Cisumdawu toll roads and other supporting facilities would be accelerated.
The total funds disbursed for the construction of BIJB reached Rp 2.1 trillion.
