BANDUNG-Bandung City will be wireless in the near future. Soon the cable belonging to the telecommunications provider will disappear from the roadside in Bandung, through Bandung Free Wired program.
According to the Head of Public Works Office Bandung Iskandar Zulkarnaen Bandung wireless is essentially move the air cable into the ground.
"This has actually started since 2013, but because that time is still constrained by ducting facilities, so we can start again this year" he said, in the launching of Bandung Wireless at YPK Building Naripan Street Bandung, Monday (18/9).
According to Iskandar, Bandung Wireless program has been discussed with various providers such as telecommunications, pay TV and also PLN.
"That's what we've been talking about and they are fully supportive about moving their air cables into the ground, especially on roads we've put in duster on the sidewalks," Iskandar said.
