BANDUNG-Secretary of the Directorate General of Information and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Azis Nurwahyudi said the debriefing for diplomatic and consular officials (PDK) and technical attaches to be placed at Indonesian representatives abroad aims to provide an understanding of the potential that exists in Indonesia.
"In accordance with the Jokowi-JK Government's priority to promote Indonesian tourism, they must understand about Indonesia and what to do later," he said.
According to Azis, the participants got knowledge about the tourism world from the staff of the Tourism Office of Bandung City Government, and for trading by PT INKA and PT Indofood, where the products produced by both companies have been exported to several countries in Asia, Europe and Africa.
"With education from them, the consulates will understand what to do later when they serve in other countries," Azis told www.Jabarprov.go.id at the KAA Museum on Thursday (14/09).
As for films according to Azis, film is an asset of diplomacy, which can promote Indonesian tourism to the international world with visually easily digested so they are interested to come.
"The film with all its effects, is part of the creative economy and will be readily acknowledged so that the film serves to asset the nation's diplomacy," (Parno)
